A note on trust
Most agency websites lead with five-star testimonial walls. Some are real. Many are bought, prompted, or assembled before the work was finished. We'd rather not play that game while we're still earning the right to a wall of our own.
What follows are the standards we measure ourselves against, the public research our methodology is built on, and the questions we get asked most often. When the first 90-day client cycles complete, the first reviews land here. Until then, you can evaluate us by what we choose to be accountable to.
01 / Industry baseline
The $36-per-$1 benchmark.
Email marketing returns an average of $36 for every $1 spent across the industry, per Litmus's annual State of Email report. If a retention engagement we run isn't moving toward that benchmark inside ninety days, we owe you continued work at no additional cost.
02 / Trust research
62% of buyers do their own research.
Baymard Institute's DTC research finds that 62% of customers will look for third-party reviews and external proof before purchasing from an unfamiliar brand. We design every post-purchase touchpoint to give the brand more of that proof — not extract another sale.
03 / Methodology
Forty years of behavioral research.
The inference layer behind our flows applies established work in behavioral economics, RFM segmentation, and chronotype research — not a black box marketed as "AI."
Common questions
Where can I see reviews of real. Marketing?
We're a young agency and are early in publishing client reviews. Verified reviews will live on a dedicated subdomain (rate.workwithreal.com) once our first 90-day client cycles complete. Until then, this page documents the standards we hold ourselves to.
What does real. guarantee its clients?
A 90-day measurable-results guarantee. If we don't deliver measurable improvements within ninety days, we continue working at no additional cost until the agreed metrics move.
How does real. measure success?
Four primary outcomes: repeat purchase rate, revenue per recipient, customer lifetime value lift, and post-purchase support ticket volume. We report open rates, but we don't optimise against them — they're a directional signal, not a goal. Background on customer lifetime value.
What technology stack do you work with?
Platform-agnostic. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Customer.io, Postscript, similar. The behavioural inference layer sits on top of whichever tool a client already uses — no forced migration, no vendor lock-in.
Where is real. based?
Grevenbroich, Germany. We work with DTC brands across the EU, UK, and US, serving clients in English and German.
